Any site submitted may be "adult-oriented" in nature, which means that they are authored and intended for viewing by adults. THEY MAY NOT BE PORNOGRAHIC! Nor may they involve "hate" issues in any way, shape or form! This means that your site does NOT have to be family friendly or child-safe. However, I will be the last word in what these terms mean. If I'm offended by it, then it doesn't get in. We want diversity in this group, not ADversity! Remember that people have different tastes and opinions and in this group, those tastes and opinions will be respected, as long as they remain within the confines of socially acceptable standards.

With regard to the rule above, if your site is "adult" in nature, then there must be a disclaimer stating this on the opening page of your site AND on the page where the ring fragment rests, since most people will be going to your main page from there, to surf your site. THIS IS A MUST DO! NO EXCEPTIONS! This disclaimer should be clearly visible upon entering either the main page or the page where this ring fragment sits.

At this time, we will be allowing you to request votes for any web competition in which you may be involved. This is to be done thru the Egroups Moderated Mail. In other words, when you make this request, it will come to me and I will distribute it to the general membership, after checking out the competition. Please don't abuse this!

Likewise, our list of current members, which has the email addresses, will NOT be given out to any party outside this group! It will not be used for spamming purposes, or anything of that nature. If any member is found in violation of this rule, it will be investigated and if found to be true, she will be immediately and without recourse, removed from the Devastating Dames...permanently!

Every member will be added to the Egroups (or whatever email program we are using at the time) Email known as all_us_dames@egroups.com. It is mandatory that you belong to this email group for communication purposes. This is the way that I communicate with the group, as a whole, with one mailing, as opposed to many. This email MUST be set on either Daily Digest or Individual Email. It CANNOT be set on no email/web only. Likewise, Dames has a Chat Group at us_dames@egroups.com. This chat group is ENTIRELY VOLUNTARY and you control your participation in it.

Everyday, operational issues, will be decided by me and any staff members that I may designate. MAJOR changes and decisions will be presented to the General Membership and voted on by all who wish to have a say. If you don't vote, then don't complain about changes that you don't like. Likewise, as in any democracy, the majority rules, so don't complain if you are outvoted :o) I will be setting up a "suggestion" box, which will be optionally anonymous. So feel free to complain all you like in this forum, if you have an issue.

No trashing of other members will be allowed. If you have an issue with another member, KEEP IT OUT OF THE DAMES! Take it to the streets or wherever you feel it necessary....just not here. There will be no conflicts within the confines of this group. Respect for other members will be adhered to at all times. This is the one area where you WILL come up against me and rub me the absolutely wrong way and rest assured that I can be the very best and loyal friend in the world....likewise, you won't like the alternative.
