I am the Lady Haven....Guardian of the Young. I have been bidden by my Mistress to point thy way to areas that specialize in the protection of the young and the innocent. We of Excalibur have done and continue to work very hard to achieve a safe harbor for young and old within this kingdom. We would ask that if, in thy travels through any of our sites, thou finds something that thee feels is important for us to know, that thou wilst take the time to email one of us and point us in the direction of the offense. Below, thee will find many links to places that aid and assist in our quest. Some thee will find are about things that are not so pleasant, such as organizations for missing and exploited children. These, however, are necessary, as sad as that may seem. Who could ever conceive of harming such an innocent as a child?? But there are those that do exactly that....sometimes those that are closest to a child will do them harm. These organizations are important to us and we support them in their efforts to aid and assist all children and to create an environment where our young ones will not only one day feel safe....but will truly be safe. I am aware that thy time is important, but I ask that thou wouldst visit at least two of these areas on thy visit to our realm. It is important that ALL of us within Excalibur and the Realm of the Good Witch along with thee work toward the eventual goal of safety for our children in every facet of life, as well as on the Internet. It is therefore vital that we all become involved....and not convince ourselves that any of us is immune from these troubles and worries.
